What age is Dearest You designed for?

Dearest You is thoughtfully created for tween girls approximately aged 8–12 years.

The content is designed to feel gentle, relatable, and age-appropriate - supporting confidence, emotional awareness, mindfulness and self-worth during the important transition into the tween years.

Every child is different, so some younger or older children may also connect beautifully with the experience depending on their interests and emotional maturity.

What's included in each monthly delivery?

Each month, your child will receive a beautifully curated themed bundle designed to encourage confidence, calm, and emotional connection.

Every delivery includes:

🧘 A guided mindfulness or calming audio experience

🎧 A curated Spotify playlist

🍓 A themed recipe card

🎨 A colouring card

🌈 An affirmation sticker

Each month follows a unique emotional wellbeing theme such as self-kindness, resilience, confidence, belonging or emotional awareness.

What is the monthly order cut off?

The cut-off date for all new subscriptions and orders is the 21st of each month.

Orders placed before the 21st will receive the following month's Dearest You delivery.

For example:

• Orders placed before June 21 will receive the July delivery

• Orders placed after June 21 will begin with the August delivery

This allows us time to thoughtfully prepare and carefully pack each month's experience 🤍

Who's name and address do I enter at checkout?

Please enter the tween recipient’s name and delivery address in the shipping section at checkout.

This helps us personalise the experience and ensures each Dearest You delivery arrives addressed directly to the child receiving it - making every monthly delivery feel even more special and meaningful 🤍

If you’re purchasing Dearest You as a gift, you’ll still be able to enter your own billing details separately during checkout.

What if I have more than one tween I wish to buy for?

We absolutely love that Dearest You is being shared with multiple tweens 🤍

To ensure each subscription can be personalised correctly and delivered to the right recipient, separate transactions will need to be completed for each child.

This allows us to:
• personalise each delivery experience
• include individual recipient details
• ensure every subscription is addressed and managed correctly

If you’re gifting subscriptions to siblings or multiple children, simply complete a separate checkout for each tween recipient.

How does shipping work?

Dearest You subscriptions are shipped on the first Wednesday of each month.

Orders are carefully packed and sent with love to create a meaningful "letterbox moment" your child can look forward to each month.

Shipping within Australia usually takes up to 2 weeks. International shipping can take upwards of 15 days.

Letters are sent via regular post and are therefore, unable to be tracked.

Do the prices on your website include shipping?

Shipping within Australia is included in the price.

International shipping is calculated at the checkout.

What happens if I don't receive my subscription?

If you haven't received your letter within 4 weeks of shipping, please contact us for support.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes - subscriptions can be paused or cancelled at any time.

We want Dearest You to feel supportive, flexible and easy for families.

If you need to pause or cancel your subscription, simply manage your subscription through your account or contact us for support.

How do I change my address?

Your address and contact details can all be managed within your account. Simply log in and navigate the account settings to update as required.

When is Dearest You billed each month?

Dearest You is billed on the same day of the month as you initially signed up. For example; if you sign up on the 13th of May, you will be billed on the 13th of June and again on the 13th of July, etc!

Is Dearest You therapy or mental health treatment?

No — Dearest You is not a therapy or clinical mental health service.

Dearest You is a mindfulness and emotional wellbeing subscription designed to encourage confidence, self-expression, emotional awareness and meaningful connection through gentle, age-appropriate activities and experiences.

While we hope the experience feels supportive and comforting, it is not intended to replace professional mental health support or therapy services.

What do you mean by "mindfulness"?

For us, mindfulness simply means helping children slow down, notice how they feel and create small moments of calm and connection in everyday life.

The activities inside Dearest You are designed to feel approachable, gentle, and engaging - never overwhelming or overly complicated.

Can I gift a Dearest You subscription?

Absolutely 🤍

Dearest You makes a thoughtful and meaningful gift for birthdays, Christmas, milestones or simply to remind someone they are loved and supported.

Can I personalise the subscription?

Each subscription includes a downloaded Gift Certificate that can be printed by the purchaser and allows for a personalised message to make the experience feel even more special.

The certificate is delivered to the email address attached to your account once your order has been processed (usually about 24 hours) and can be gifted to the intended recipient whenever suits you.

This small touch helps create a deeply personal and memorable experience from the very beginning.

Why was Dearest You created?

Dearest You was created by a mother wanting to help children grow up feeling calm, confident, emotionally safe, and enough exactly as they are.
